As part of our Memorial Day weekend trip, we spent a day at Folley Beach SC. We have not really been "beach people" before. While living out in Utah, the beach was a long way away, and really wasn't that accessible. But, since there are so many great beaches within less than a days drive, we decided we needed to give being "beach people" a try.
It didn't take us long at the beach to decided we loved it!! The water in the Atlantic Ocean in warm, the sand is beautiful, white, and powdery, and there is very little under-toe. The Weather was perfect. The kids jumped right into the Ocean and played for hours. 
We loved the beach so much, we are going to make it an annual trip. (We might even be persuaded to go more than once a year!!)
I am even adding a picture of myself at the beach, it seems a little weird to post a picture of me in my bathing suit on the Internet--but I have to

What a great trip! I love the beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, and I was horrified when I finally went to a beach on the Pacific Ocean - what?! COLD water? What's fun about that?!
Enjoy that warm water and white sand for us - no beaches here in AZ! :)
