Mckay is our little sports nut. He is constantly playing any sport he can. Currently he is playing soccer in a league sponsored by one of the Methodist Churches here. He absolutely loves it. I know I am his Mom, and all Mom's think their child is the best, so please forgive me if I brag a bit. Mckay pretty much domintes when he is on the field. He has amazing ball control for a 5 year old. In order to give the other kids on the team a chance to play/score some goals, the coach has Mckay play defense during part of his time on the field. A couple of games ago, while McKay was behind the mid-field line playing defense. The ball was kicked toward him. He kicked the ball so hard and so well that it flew over a few kids heads, and went straight into the goal. As you can imagine parents from both teams went crazy cheering for him.
He is so determined when he is on the field. He is not about to let the other team score any goals. It is really fun to watch him play.
You never know--one day he may be a huge sports star, and you can say that you know him :)
